Eclipse Aviation Corporation Hires Vice President of Customer and Product Support
Company's commitment to building world-class support infrastructure will be led by Michael McConnell
ALBUQUERQUE, NM - April 1, 2002 - Eclipse Aviation Corporation today announced the appointment of Michael McConnell to vice president of customer and product support. Reporting to President and CEO, Vern Raburn, McConnell's responsibilities include devising and implementing the systems and processes required to provide Eclipse customers with unsurpassed product support.

“Customer and product support are of the utmost importance to Eclipse,” said Raburn. “We're confident that Mike's business acumen and his unique experience as both an aircraft distributor and the head of worldwide product and customer support organizations will enable him to build a first-rate support organization and global network.”

Throughout McConnell's career his entrepreneurial approach and innovative thinking have generated success in executive-level roles in diverse industries. Most recently as senior vice president of strategic planning for Mooney Aircraft, he was responsible for worldwide product and customer support, sales, and marketing activities. Just prior to joining Mooney, he was founder and president of an authorized distributor for Mooney aircraft.

Over 15 years of management experience in the high-tech industry has honed his skill at building support networks from the ground up. McConnell held key management positions throughout his 12 years at Dell Computer Corporation. During his tenure in various worldwide product marketing, sales and marketing operations, he led portions of Dell's record growth from $250 million to approximately $30 billion in annual revenues.
