As vice president of manufacturing operations, Jones will lead the company's development and implementation of high-volume manufacturing and quality operations in the company's Albuquerque, New Mexico plant.
Jones has served as vice president of operations for the Engines Division of AlliedSignal Aerospace and assembly plant manager for N.U.M.M.I., a General Motors/Toyota joint venture. Most recently he was president and CEO of Wolverine Manufacturing, Inc., a custom precision lathe and milling company. Jones graduated from the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan.
Denker, vice president of investor relations, will be Eclipse Aviation's chief liaison with its current and future investor base.
Prior to joining Eclipse, Denker was vice president of Albuquerque Economic Development, Inc., a private, non-profit economic development corporation. As such, he was instrumental in attracting Eclipse Aviation to Albuquerque. Denker has also served in a leadership capacity for several non-profit and for-profit economic development, marketing and financial institutions. Denker holds an MBA from St. Ambrose University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Central College in Pella, Iowa.
Eclipse Aviation is in the business of designing, certifying and producing modern, affordable jet aircraft that will revolutionize the transportation market. The company is applying advanced electronics systems, manufacturing and business practices to produce aircraft that cost less than a quarter of today's small jet aircraft, will be significantly safer and easier to operate than those of today, and have the lowest cost of ownership ever achieved in a jet aircraft.
The goal of Eclipse is to bring the word "personal" into aviation, making it possible for commercial air passengers to move directly between cities on a quick, affordable and convenient basis. It will also allow pilot owners to enter the world of jet-powered aviation.
