ARGO-TECH CORPORATION Since 1946, Argo-Tech (formerly known as JC Carter) has been recognized as a leader in the design and manufacture of fuel components to both commercial and military customers in the aircraft, missile, and spacecraft fields. The company is the world's leading supplier of main engine fuel pumps to the aviation industry and a leading supplier of airframe products, aerial refueling systems, ground refueling systems, and industrial liquefied gas pumps. Argo-Tech is collaborating with Eclipse Aviation to provide the entire integrated fuel system for the Eclipse 500 jet. AUTRONICS, A Curtiss-Wright Company Autronics develops, designs, and certifies aircraft electronic components and systems using processor-based designs with advanced software/algorithms. For the Eclipse 500, Autronics is designing and manufacturing the Avio™ Processing Center (APC). The dual redundant Avio Processing Center acquires electronic data, processes the data, and delivers control signals to most of the major systems on-board the Eclipse 500. Curtiss-Wright acquired Autronics in 2002. AVIDYNE CORPORATION Avidyne Corporation is a key partner supplying avionics and integrated electronics for the Eclipse 500. CROUZET NORTH AMERICA Crouzet USA, a subsidiary of Crouzet Automatismes based in France, is a supplier of aerospace componenets including proximity switches, limit switches, circuit breakers and pilot control wheels. Eclipse has selected Crouzet USA to supply proximity switches to the Eclipse 500 in a variety of functions. These switches are small, lightweight and reliable and ideal for VLJ applications. Located in Wichita, KS, for more than 50 years, we have specialized in the production of precision parts and assemblies for the aerospace industry. Curtiss-Wright Controls, Novatronics Inc. is supplying the throttle quadrant assembly for the Eclipse 500. Novatronics is a Canadian manufacturer of electro-mechanical components and assemblies. Novatronics worked with Eclipse Aviation to design and develop the throttle quadrant, incorporating dual engine throttle levers and autothrottle motor assemblies into a compact assembly that also incorporates flap handle, speed brake, and rudder trim functions. Novatronics' vertically integrated facility includes engineering expertise and manufacturing capabilities for electro-mechanical rotary position sensors, motors, switches, lighted indicators, and assemblies. DUCOMMUN INCORPORATED Ducommun will manufacture all of the fuselage and cockpit skin panels for the Eclipse 500. Ducommun AeroStructures, a subsidiary of Ducommun Incorporated (NYSE: DCO), manufactures large, complex structural components and assemblies in aluminum, specialty alloys such as titanium, metal bond, and composites for a wide variety of military and commercial aerospace applications. Ducommun's integrated processes include stretch-forming, thermal-forming, chemical milling, precision fabrication, machining, finishing processes, and integration of components into subassemblies. DUKES, INC. Dukes, Inc., supplies the digital interface cabin pressure control system, the high-temperature valving, and the air control components for the Eclipse 500. FREEFLIGHT SYSTEMS FreeFlight will manufacture the Wide Area Augmentation (WAAS ) capable Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver for the Eclipse 500. FreeFlight supplies GPS/WAAS, radar altimeters and selective calling decoders worldwide to business, commuter, military, OEMs and air transport aircraft customers. An international leader in satellite guidance and navigation, it is the first company to complete certification of GPS/WAAS for navigation and landing. FUJI HEAVY INDUSTRIES – AEROSPACE COMPANY Fuji Heavy Industries (FHI) is a global manufacturer of transportation and aerospace-related products and the maker of SUBARU automobiles. FHI is manufacturing the complete wing assemblies for the Eclipse 500. In addition, as part of a long-term agreement, Eclipse has agreed to license its friction stir welding process to FHI for use in the Eclipse 500 wing assemblies as well as other potential applications within FHI's manufacturing operations. A leader in aerospace manufacturing, FHI manufactures the center-wing section of the Boeing 777 and was recently contracted to build components for the Airbus A380. The air data system consists of dual air data computers with reduced vertical separation minimums (RVSM) capability, dual heated static port, dual OAT, dual pitot/AOA heated probe, a pitot/static heated probe along with dual ECS static ports. Heads Up Technologies designs and manufactures electronic solutions for the aviation industry including audio checklists, passenger briefing systems, and certified receivers for XM Satellite Radio and XM WX Satellite Weather services. For the Eclipse 500, Heads Up is providing interior LED lighting solutions to include up-wash, optional down-wash and reading lights. The rugged mechanical design eliminates breakage associated with cold cathode solutions and meets Eclipse Aviation’s exacting demands for system reliability.
HISPANO-SUIZA SA Hispano-Suiza SA is a world leader in design, development, test, delivery, and in-service support of mission-critical aerospace controllers and engine accessories. Hispano-Suiza SA is supplying the Full Authority Digital Engine Control (FADEC) system for the PW610F engine. FADECs produced by Hispano-Suiza have logged more than 80 million hours of operation. MICHELIN AIRCRAFT TIRE CORPORATION Michelin is providing radial tires, capable of use on unimproved runways, for the Eclipse 500 jet. These radial tires, which provide more mass, durability, safety and heat resistance than bias tires, will be a standard feature on the Eclipse 500. Currently, only 15 percent of the world’s aircraft are equipped with radial tires.
